An SRTF Electricity Project Receives Equipment for Solar Plants Testing and Maintenance

Türkiye’ – Wednesday, 16 February 2022 - Today the SRTF’s Electricity project “Sustainable Energy Solar System for Water Pumping Stations in Rural Areas of North Aleppo-Phase I” received a variety of equipment that includes two electrical network analyzers, two solar power clamps, one infrared thermal image camera, one battery analyzer, one digital tachometer and one compact solar PV tester with I-V curve tracing.

The delivered items will be used by the Implementing Entity (IE’s) maintenance teams to test components of the solar power plants, as for the electrical network analyzers, these will be used by the solar power plants operation teams to monitor the electrical parameters at solar plants (voltage, current, frequency, etc).

This electricity project has an estimated budget of EUR 1.8 million and is expected to last 12 months, with an additional six months allocated for post-implementation monitoring and evaluation. Approximately 165,000 people, including a significant number of internally displaced people (IDPs), will directly benefit from this project. Furthermore, an additional 85,000 people are expected to indirectly benefit.
