The SRTF Approves a New Project to Sustain Critical Healthcare Services in Hajin
Damascus – Monday, 31 March 2026 - The Syria Recovery Trust Fund (SRTF) is pleased to announce the approval of a new healthcare project aimed at sustaining essential and life-saving medical services in North-East Syria.
The project will support the continued delivery of healthcare services at Hajin Maternity Hospital in Deir-ez-Zor Governorate, seven Primary Health Care Centers (PHCCs) in Ar-Raqqa Governorate, and the Intensive Care Unit at Ar-Raqqa National Hospital. Over a period of three months, the project will ensure uninterrupted access to critical medical care for approximately 20,328 individuals, helping address urgent health needs and supporting vulnerable communities.
With a total budget of EUR 470,000, the intervention focuses on maintaining essential healthcare provision, safeguarding maternal and neonatal services, and strengthening emergency and intensive care capacity
