Denmark Contributes EUR 716k to Supporting the SRTF Efforts in Syria

Damascus – Monday, 23 February 2026 – The SRTF is pleased to announce receipt of a new contribution of EUR 716,292 from Denmark, marking its second contribution in 2025 and bringing Denmark’s total contributions throughout the year to over EUR 2 million. This also represents Denmark’s 12th contribution to the Fund since its establishment.

With this latest contribution, Denmark’s cumulative support to the SRTF reaches approximately EUR 28.79 million, while total contributions from all 12 donors amount to an estimated EUR 384.22 million.

The SRTF’s Director General, Eng. Hani Khabbaz stated, “We extend our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to the Government and people of Denmark for their steadfast generosity and partnership. From the very beginning, our donors’ unwavering commitment has been instrumental in sustaining our operations and expanding our ability to reach and support Syrians in need. With this renewed contribution, the SRTF reaffirms its strong commitment to delivering tangible impact, supporting stabilisation, and sustainable recovery in Syria.”
