The SRTF Delivers Work Safety Clothes to Rubble Removal Operations in the North of Aleppo Governorate

Türkiye – Sunday, 12th July 2020 – The SRTF delivered safety clothing to workers engaged in rubble removal activities in the north of Aleppo Governorate as part of the fund’s project: “Rubble Removal from Eight Communities in Aleppo Governorate - Phase I”. Received by implementing entity (IE) of the project, the delivery consisted of 1,407 pieces of winter and summer uniforms, safety shoes, caps and safety helmets, gloves, vests, jackets and raincoats that will be used by cleaning and maintenance workers.


At a total cost of EUR 3.5 million, the project is expected to be finished in 18 months spread out as follows: 12 months for project implementation & six months for post-implementation monitoring and evaluation. It is expected to impact 339,100 residents of the targeted areas and indirectly positively impact those who will benefit from rubble removal activities, as infrastructure spaces open will be made available for access.
