The SRTF Delivers Four Ambulances to Ar-Raqqa Governorate

Ar-Raqqa - Thursday, 30th April 2020 - As part of its efforts to improve health services in the Ar-Raqqa governorate through its intervention: “Provision of PHC Services and Clean Water Supply for Rural Communities- Phase II”, the SRTF announced the delivery of four, fully equipped, ambulances to support health care services in the primary health care centers that were established and funded by the SRTF under this intervention. This delivery aims to strengthen the emergency response system and to ensure that all patients have adequate transportation and care in the targeted communities.


The intervention comes at a total budget of EUR 3.7 million with around a six-month implementation period. It is intended to support 11,334 households in the targeted communities to benefit a population of up to 67,986 across several rural communities, including the three locations that were already supported in Phase I.
