The SRTF Announces EUR 330,000 Support Package to the White Helmets in Response to the Crisis in Southern Syria

Damascus- Wednesday, 13 August 2025 - On the sidelines of today’s Coordination Meeting on the AsSweida and Daraa Emergency Response, the SRTF announced support to the Syrian Civil Defence (White Helmets) to sustain their ongoing operations in the aftermath of the recent tragic events in AsSweida, southern Syria. The package includes medical consumables valued at approximately EUR 130,000, along with around EUR 200,000 to bolster the Syrian Civil Defence teams’ critical emergency response efforts.

This contribution forms part of an expanded emergency support package totalling roughly EUR 330,000, dedicated to the urgent medical needs and enhancing the operational readiness of the Syrian Civil Defence.
