The SRTF Delivers Two Tractors with Trailers for Waste and Rubble Removal Operations in the Northern Countryside of Aleppo Governorate

Turkey – Monday, 20 November 2017 – The SRTF Management Unit delivered two tractors with trailers to help restore waste removal services in the northern countryside of Aleppo Governorate today. The equipment was delivered to the local councils of two towns under the SRTF “Filling the Void” project. The delivery marks the start of effort to rehabilitate the solid waste management sector in the targeted areas.  The Waste Removal sector had suffered heavy losses during the conflict, thus, reducing the waste and rubble removal services to the minimum and increasing the risks of spreading disease.
