The SRTF Delivers Laboratory Equipment in Support of the Food Security Sector in Syria

Gaziantep – Thursday, 8 April 2015 – The SRTF Management Unit today delivered laboratory equipment to the Syrian Public Establishment for Grain (SPEG), the Implementing Entity of the SRTF “Storage and Milling Support for the National Wheat Programme” project. The delivery took place at a zero point on the Turkish-Syrian border.

 

The equipment will be used to analyze wheat for commercial purposes (humidity, weight, scales, samplers, protein content, etc.). The delivery included grain sample taking probes; sample dividers; hectoliters, analytical scales; wheat analysis sieve sets; moisture meters; full hollow sample probes; separated compartments sample probes; magnifying glasses; sieve shaking machines; furnaces and accessories.
