The SRTF Participates in Brussels’ Meetings of the Governing Bodies of the European Union Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis (Madad)
Brussels – Tuesday, 21 June 2016 – Eng. Hani Khabbaz, Director-General of the Syrian Recovery Trust Fund (SRTF) attended the meetings of Madad Trust Fund’s Board and Operational Board held in Brussels today. The SRTF has an observer seat on the two governing bodies.
The SRTF is mandated to carry out recovery and reconstruction projects inside Syria while Madad is a regional trust fund established by the European Commission to address the effects of the Syrian crisis on Syria's neighboring countries.
